More than 70% of the fire accidents arising from static electricity result from the discharge of sparks. In many cases, this is attributable to failure to earth the equipment, container or jig, or to inappropriate earthing.

With the Mimamoru Earth (ECS-004), the lighting of the LED lamp verifies that the equipment and container are both earthed with dedicated clips. If the earthing is inappropriate or if the earthing line is broken, the LED lamp remains unlit to warn that they are not grounded.

This product conforms to the intrinsic safety and explosion-proof standards, so it may be used in hazardous places.

As stipulated in Article 280 of the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, electric apparatuses conforming to the explosion-proof standards alone may be used in hazardous places where flammable substances are handled.
